Fresh postings of several Commissioners of Police have been approved by the Inspector-General of Police, Olutunji Disu, for various police commands across the country and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) with Tijani Olaiwola Fatai posted to Lagos State Command, taking over from Jimoh Tijani Fatai, a Lagos-born police officer.
Muhammed Sanusi Ahmed will now superintend over the FCT Command, replacing Miller Dantawaye who was decorated on Monday as an Assistant Inspector-General of Police (AIG).
These changes, which are with immediate effect, were contained in an internal wireless message marked “Most/Immediate” and issued from the Force Headquarters in Abuja, directing all relevant units and formations to update their records accordingly.
According to the postings, Olubode Ojajuni has been posted to Ogun State; Michael Adegoroye Falade to Ekiti State; and Yakubu Useni Dankaro (Ag.) to Adamawa State; Olugbenga Ayodeji Abimbola, Oyo State Command, and Yemi John Oyeniyi to Delta State Command.
Similarly, Morkwap S. Dongshal has been redeployed to Taraba State; Ahmed Mohammed Bello to Zamfara State; Umar Ali Fagge, to Katsina State; and Mayatu Shaffa Hassan has been posted to Sokoto State Command.

In a similar vein, Aina Adesola has been redeployed to Training under the Department of Training and Development at Force Headquarters, while Commissioner of Police Haruna Alaba Yahaya has been posted to head JGS, and Betty Enekpen Otimenyin deployed to Welfare at Force Headquarters, Abuja.
Furthermore, Aina Adesola has been redeployed to Training under the Department of Training and Development at Force Headquarters.
