Pastor Ifeoluwa Akindayomi, the youngest child of the late founder of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pa Josiah Akindayomi, has passed away at the age of 63.
A report of Church Times said that he died on Sunday, November 2, 2025, approximately 45 years after his father’s passing and only months after the death of his elder brother, Pastor Kolade Akindayomi, who died in May.
According to close associates, Pastor Ifeoluwa appeared to be in good health before his sudden death.
He had served as chairman at a wedding on Saturday and reportedly went for a prayer walk early Sunday morning at the RCCG Camp in Ogun State.
Upon returning home and while preparing for church, he reportedly missed a step, fell, and struck his head on a sharp object.
Attempts to rush him to the hospital were unsuccessful, and he died before help could reach him.
Until his passing, Pastor Ifeoluwa served as the Assistant Provincial Pastor of RCCG Ogun Province 5 and ran a successful printing business.
Family sources said that his wife and children, who reside in Canada, had long encouraged him to relocate.
Although he preferred to remain in Nigeria to oversee his business and church responsibilities, he had recently secured permanent residency in Canada and was preparing to reunite with his family before his unexpected death. (Church Times)
