A Canadian national, Mr. Dwight Sullivan, has been found dead in his hotel room on Victoria Island, Lagos State.
According to security analyst Zagazola Makama, the incident occurred at the Sun Heaven Hotels Limited, located at 191, Adeleke Adedoyin Street, off Kofo Abayomi Street, in the early hours of October 7, 2025.
Sources said the hotel’s Chief Security Officer, Sunday Isadeha, discovered the lifeless body of the guest in Room 114 where he had been staying since October 2 and reported the incident to the Victoria Island Police Division at about 4:30 p.m.
A team of detectives immediately visited the scene, took photographs, and conducted a preliminary investigation. Police confirmed that there were no visible signs of violence on the deceased’s body.
The body was later taken to the Lagos Island General Hospital, Marina, where a medical officer officially pronounced him dead. His remains have since been deposited in the hospital’s morgue for preservation and autopsy.
Although early findings suggest no indication of foul play, police have launched a full investigation to determine the exact cause of death. (TheNewsGuru)
