A high-stakes meeting between former U.S. President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky took a dramatic turn when Trump reportedly cut the talks short, accusing Zelensky of resisting peace efforts.

“Either make a deal or we are out. You are in big trouble. You are not winning this,” Trump allegedly declared, demanding Ukraine negotiate an end to the war.

Zelensky, unfazed by Trump’s pressure, responded firmly: “We are in our own country, and we have stayed strong all this time.”

The tense exchange escalated further as Trump accused the Ukrainian leader of showing disrespect to the U.S. “Zelensky disrespected the U.S. He doesn’t want peace,” Trump reportedly stated before abruptly walking out.

Adding to the spectacle, a White House reporter noted that the lunch originally prepared for both leaders was instead served to press staffers after the meeting was cut short.

The fiery confrontation raises fresh questions about the future of U.S. support for Ukraine and has sent shockwaves through global diplomatic circles.
