President Donald Trump broke from his cover in the White House on Monday to head to an undisclosed location days after rumors swirled that the president had died.
Trump, 79, was spotted by members of the press pool leaving the White House at 8:52 a.m. from the South Portico entrance before clambering to a black SUV, codenamed The Beast. Photos taken of the president show him wearing a white USA hat with a white polo shirt and a black jacket.
The photos also show crews filling up the presidential vehicle with gas before driving off at 8:53 am. The current destination of the president, who undertook the trip without his wife or children, was initially unclear.

It was later reported by the press pool that the president arrived at his Virginia golf course around 9:25 a.m. with two people standing at the gates with pro-Trump signs. The president had previously visited the golf course on Saturday, accompanied by his two grandchildren.
Trump’s lack of appearances caused many to speculate that the president’s health had taken a turn for the worse. It was noted that the president had not traveled outside of greater Washington, D.C., in the previous 16 days. This is the longest period between out-of-town trips since he took office in January.

According to the president’s official public schedule, the last time Trump traveled outside of Washington was during his summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska on Aug. 15 and Aug. 16. It was reported that the previous record for days between out-of-town trips for Trump was earlier this month, between a weekend trip to Trump National Golf Club Bedminster, New Jersey on Aug. 3, and his departure for the Putin summit.
The president spent several of his first months during his second term frequently traveling on Air Force One, including multi-day visits to the United Kingdom and the Middle East and routine trips around the United States. During the early days of his term, Trump would often spend his weekends at his various golf clubs around the country, including Bedminster, Mar-a-Lago, Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida, and Trump National Golf Club in Jupiter, Florida.

Trump dismisses health fears
The president attempted to dismiss fears about his health by offering a weak statement on Truth Social: “NEVER FELT BETTER IN MY LIFE,” he wrote. In an odd moment during his alleged absence, the White House press pool, after hearing the music of Les Misérables, Andrea Bocelli, and The Beatles echoing from the West Wing, was compelled to ask if this indicated that POTUS was alive and present in the building.

However, on Saturday, the online gossipers who were suggesting that the president was dead were silenced when photographers captured President Trump exiting the residence in a motorcade with his grandchildren, departing for a day of golf.
Despite the public appearance, additional public worry was triggered, which drew parallels to President Biden’s frequently unwell-looking demeanor. (The Mirror)
